Guest Speaker: Duffie Stone, 14th Circuit Solicitor (our D.A.)

Our next meeting is this Tuesday, February 13 at First Baptist Church of Hardeeville, Fellowship Hall.  Doors open at 6:00 PM for socializing and refreshments; meeting starts at 6:30.  Our guest speaker will be Duffie Stone, 14th Circuit Solicitor (our D.A.).  We will discuss upcoming elections and conventions.  

Please don't miss it.  As always, like-minded friends and guests are welcome!

It's not surprising that Clueless Joe won the Democratic Presidential Preference Primary with 96% of the vote.  The alarming part is that voter turnout in Jasper County was only 6.4% (4.1% statewide).  Of Jasper's 21,868 registered voters, only 1,396 people showed up to vote.  We must expect that many dems are saving their vote for our Republican Presidential Primary on Saturday, February 24th. We must show up and vote in numbers great enough to overcome however the dems try to impact OUR primary!

In preparation for primary season, the Lowcountry GOP Campaign Office in Riverwalk Office Park on 170 will be open Monday thru Saturday from 11:00 AM- 5:00 PM starting February 12th thru February 24th.  Volunteers are needed to staff the office, greet people, give out candidate information, sell merchandise, etc.  If you can spare a few hours of your time, please call Karen Wyld (518) 423-9910 or Linda Cannon (843) 575-8887.  It will be greatly appreciated.

Call Your Congressmen and Thank Them!

As you've probably heard, a bipartisan Border Security Bill was defeated. This bill was atrocious and did not close the border; it allowed the President discretion to suspend immigration laws at will; it codified illegal immigration; it gave judicial authority to the very liberal D.C. courts. 

The stupidity of the Establishment in Washington is mind boggling.  Public outrage has stopped the bill for now.  Please call and email Senators Tim Scott (202-224-6121) and Lindsey Graham (202-224-5972) and thank them for KILLING THIS BILL!  

DITCH MITCH NOW!

Mitch McConnell is not our friend.  This wretched bill presented a serious opportunity to finally oust him from power.  We need to act now.   Tell our Senators that Mitch McConnell must be removed as Minority Leader.  Be especially emphatic with Lindsey Graham.  You can also go to NumbersUSA.com to contact your elected officials and get news and updates on immigration issues.
